You'll need more than sheer brute strength if you want to stay on board our wild bull. If you've got a good sense of balance and you can detect which movement the bull is about to do then there's just a chance you'll come out the winner. Rodeo bull riding goes back to the early 17th century when Wild West cowboys needed to round up their cattle. One or two bulls would inevitably stray from the herd and it was part of the job carried out by those tough cowboys to ride them back to the herd. That's why rodeos sprang up across the Wild West: cowboys found that these events helped to hone these vital skills.
